A handmade shaker kitchen from Shaker Direct is designed to be affordable. We've predefined tooling, design and labour costs, and our process is different from many other kitchen manufacturers. This means you can benefit from scaled manufacturing whilst still getting a handmade kitchen with a bespoke look, feel and great quality.
Our process differs in one major way to many other companies. By not offering everyone free upfront design services we don't need to build those costs into the kitchens we sell. This saves a lot of money for the people who are buying shaker kitchens from Shaker Direct.
To get a quote from us we would require a full kitchen design, or you can run through our configurator form to create the kitchen you want. We do, of course, create a design of your kitchen before we manufacture it to enable both our craftsmen to build it and your installer to install it, this however requires a refundable deposit of £500.
Base & wall cabinets.
Handmade cabinets to fit under your worktop. Includes single-door, two to six-draw and open-fronted cabinets.
Tall cabinets.
Handmade cabinets that sit on the floor and rise up 2,170mm. Tall cabinets include a single-door chef's pantry, open-fronted cabinets and bench seating with coat hooks for real versatility.
Dresser cabinets.
Dressers are designed to sit on top of your work surface creating a much larger cabinet space. They're ideal for hiding small appliances when not in use.
Stylish, affordable luxury from Shaker Direct. We're a supply-only cabinet maker enabling high-quality kitchens at more affordable prices.
The Shaker Direct catalogue contains over 70 different cabinets most of which you can have in any height, width and depth within limitations. Taking into account left or right handed doors this is up to 120 different cabinets. And with our bespoke offering there really is no limit to what you can have.
Our cabinets are handmade in the Cotswolds to the highest standards of workmanship. We've worked with bespoke kitchen designers, fabricators and stylists to ensure our Shaker range has everything you'd need for that bespoke look and feel without the price-tag.
With the addition of bench seats and floating cabinet and sink options, utility rooms, boot rooms, and pantries are all also possible with our versatile range.
Our Shaker cupboards are crafted with precision and care being delivered to you sanded and primed ready for installation and painting. Starting from as little as £2,000 for a supply-only kitchen (kitchen size dependent), our Shaker range represents an investment in quality and style.
The Shaker Direct process is a little different.
Go to our Configure My Kitchen tool. You can either send us your current kitchen plans and we'll quote for a Shaker version that's as close as possible. Or, you can build it yourself on our simple form for a guide price, we'll then review the selections and work with you on a more detailed quote.

Once you have a quote, pay your small refundable deposit, and we'll get in touch to ensure nothing has been missed, all the measurements are correct, and everything is as you want it.
We'll visit your home to measure up and ensure that the technical drawings we produce are correct and that the kitchen design is exactly how you want it. Once you sign off on the designs, we'll require a further payment to increase the deposit to 50% of the total cost. As manufacturing will begin after this, it is no longer refundable. The final payment is due seven days before delivery.
